Description
3 Mukhi Rudraksha
The 3 Mukhi Rudraksha is a natural seed from the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree, sourced directly from the hill forests of Nepal. What makes it a 3 Mukhi is simple — three natural lines run from the top of the bead to the bottom, and every bead we send out is checked under magnification to confirm this before dispatch.
The bead itself is round to slightly oval, brown in colour, and measures between 16 and 22 mm across. Nepal beads tend to be larger and firmer than the Indonesian variety, which is why they’re preferred for pendant use and long-term wear.
In Vedic tradition, the 3 Mukhi is connected to Agni, the fire deity, and to the Hindu trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. It’s mentioned in texts like the Shiva Purana in the context of purification and inner clarity. In Vedic astrology, it’s linked to Mars.
It’s one of the more commonly available Nepal Rudrakshas and works well as a single pendant, in a 54 or 108 bead mala, or placed in a puja space. You can order it unset or in a sterling silver or gold cap setting — a certificate of authenticity is included with every order.
